My mom has made this recipe for years. It is an easy go to, and Daniel (my brother), Matt, and I love it. The leftovers are amazing. It saves well and provides a good breakfast, lunch, or dinner the next  day. We ate it with fruit and cornbread last night. The cornbread was just so we would have an extra side, and Matt wouldn't eat the whole quiche (which he has done before). It worked. :)

You might ask your self why I am posting recipes. I have three answers to your question.

1) I love to eat. I have always loved food, but I feel like the pregnancy has even brought more joy in eating.

2) I love to browse the internet in my spare time, look through cookbooks, talk to my mom, etc. about recipes. I know that sounds silly, but I like when people suggest recipes that actually work and are ALMOST fail proof. When you find one off the internet, it's hard to know if the person has actually really tried it. They mike just "like" the recipe because it sounds good. When a friend suggests it and makes it all the time, you know it could quite possibly be delicious. Just a thought.

3) We are on a pretty tight budget, so I have to try to make good meals out of the ingredients that are common to man. I figure most people who are my age are in the same position. They can't buy all the really expensive premade stuff from yummy Whole Foods or Central Market. They are sticking to the frozen meals/easy to make meals. When you buy the ingredients for the recipe above, it will actually make two meals. The premade crusts come in a box of two and you don't need a full package of bacon. That's why we love this meal.

Yesterday was wayback Wednesday for Matt's pictures. Today, I'm positng some of mine. Now, I should probably post some of Daniel's baby pictures because he is my twin in male form. If Noah takes after me, he will probably look like Daniel as a baby. I'm so excited to see what my wild baby Noah is going to look like. All I know is that I'm sure Noah's looking pretty cute these days....

  1. Love the pictures! I am curious to see who Noah favors too! He might be a perfect blend of the two of you, that would be wonderful! :)
