Weight/Length: 23.5 pounds and 29 inches long.
Eating: Noah has around 5 bottles a day and eats solids 3 times a day. He loves
food and will try anything. We let him eat “dinner food” at most meals but
still pull out the occasional square of Gerber apples, vegetables, or whatever.
This month, I’d say his favorites are sweet potato pieces, bread, breakfast
bars, and pears.
Bedtime/ Awake: He still sleeps 12 hours a night
with two naps during the day. These naps usually last around an hour and a
half. It is so nice, and it allows for me to get work done.
Diapers: He is in
3’s.
Favorites: Noah is attached to a blue blanket, a stuffed
bear, and his pacifier. He will go into his room and pull them out of his crib
when it gets close to nap time or bed time. Noah loves to play with balls,
trucks, and his toy house. When any type of electronic is around, he drops
everything and heads straight for it. Noah is a mommy’s boy. He has shown
attachment issues this month. He has to have mommy’s attention and wants to be
held all the time. It is especially worse when he is teething. Noah loves
people- at a restaurant last night, we faced him towards the ordering line. We
were able to enjoy our meal and he entertained the guests. Noah is quite the
flirt. Noah squeals at the sight of dogs. He loves little furry creatures- it
is so cute.
I see a lot of this lately. HOLD ME! |
Dislikes: Noah does
not like to have his diaper changed. It is impossible and quite the task. Noah
doesn’t like to be told “no.” We like to tell people that he has a sensitive
spirit. He will usually listen and get this really guilty look on his face, but
when he’s tired, the no becomes quite traumatic and he cries.
Thunder Thighs! |
Tricks: Noah is walking
and talking. He took his first steps on September 17th and has been
on the go over since. He still prefers
to crawl, but the nugget can take up to 20 steps at a time. It’s amazing how
the strength of his legs has developed. It’s so fun to watch. As for speaking
Noah says “daddeee, mommeee, uh-oh, and hello” all in context. Our favorite
trick this month is when Noah pulls up a remote, telephone, or hand to his ear
and says “hello.” It’s so precious. He also can play peek-a-boo. This boy is so
much fun! I have found toy phones in the toilet, a contact case on the toilet seat,
a toy screw driver in the tub, and a block in the printer. This is by far my
favorite age- he keeps us laughing, giggling, and on the go at all times.
